1. What is Art by FIH?

Art by FIH is the online home of fine art photography and art prints by visual storyteller and photographer Floortje Ingen Housz. Each piece is built from photographs, imagination and careful post production, created to feel like a fragment of a story that stays with you.

2. What kind of artworks can I buy here?

You will find fine art prints, framed fine art prints and wood prints, all based on Floortje’s artworks.

4. Are the prints limited editions?

The options you can pick in the shop are not limited. However, artworks are available as certified limited editions in larger sizes. Please contact us through the “Contact” page.

5. What materials do you use for prints, frames and wood prints?

All artworks are made with care and long term display in mind:
Fine art prints are produced on premium, heavy weight matte paper with a smooth, non-reflective surface.
Frames are made from durable pine wood, include shatterproof plexiglass and come with a hanging kit so they are ready to hang as soon as they arrive.
Wood prints are printed directly on birch wood, with a matte finish and visible wood grain in unprinted areas for a natural, tactile look.

6. How about those nice looking mock-ups?

The mock-up images of our prints give an impression of how they look like in different surroundings. But they are not an exact representation of our products. Please refer to the image “Fine Art Print Choices” to see a more detailed overview of the choices you have, such as the frames and the wood prints.

7. Are prices inclusive of VAT and shipping?

Yes. All listed prices include VAT and standard shipping, so there are no unexpected costs at checkout.

8. Where do you ship from and how long will delivery take?

Orders ship from the Netherlands. Standard shipping usually takes about 2 to 4 business days within the country and around 4 to 6 business days for international orders, depending on your location and local carrier speeds. If time is of the essence, please order at least 8 business days in advance to be safe. Especially the larger prints and prints on wood take time to produce and ship.

9. How are artworks packaged?

Every artwork is printed and packaged with care to help it arrive safely:
Prints are shipped flat or in sturdy triangular packaging for extra stability.
Framed works have reinforced corners and edge protection.
Wood prints and other pieces receive custom protection tailored to the material and size.
Recycled and durable materials are used where possible, such as protective sleeves, corner protectors and strong corrugated boxes.

10. What is your return and refund policy?

Each artwork is printed on demand especially for you, which means returns or exchanges are not possible once an order has been placed.
However, there is a full quality guarantee. If your print arrives damaged, if something seems wrong with the quality or if your package appears to be lost, please reach out via the contact form with your order number, a short description and, if you can, a photo. Together we will find a fitting solution, such as a replacement or refund in line with the shipping and refund policies.

11. What should I do if my order arrives damaged or defective?

Please contact Art by FIH within 10 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, describe what happened and add a photo if possible. This helps assess the situation quickly so a replacement or refund can be arranged for you.

12. Do you offer custom sizes or special commissions?

If you do not see exactly what you are looking for among the existing fine art prints, you are very welcome to get in touch. Together we can explore options such as custom pieces, different sizes or specific finishes like framed or wood prints, depending on what is possible for that artwork.

Art by FIH is based in the Netherlands.

14. How can I contact you?

15. How do you handle my personal data?

This online store is powered by Shopify, which helps process payments, manage orders and keep the shop secure. Art by FIH only uses your personal information to provide the services you request, such as processing and shipping your order, communicating with you and, if you choose so, sending you marketing updates.
